Shadow Catch - a Noh-inspired chamber opera developed and co-produced by Vancouver Pro Musica and Tomoe Arts Society that explores the rich cultural history of Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside. The opera is comprised of four episodes with music by local composers Dorothy Chang, Benton Roark, Jennifer Butler, and Farshid Samandari and a new libretto by Vancouver poet Daphne Marlatt.

March 5, 2pm. Acclaimed flute player Mark McGregor will be performing Four Directions for solo flute at the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre. 4584 Blackcomb Way, Whistler BC.

This concert also features the Aventa Ensemble and the VCC Gamelan Ensemble. Free.

February 28, 8pm.  The lovely and talented duo Marci Rabe and Mark McGregor will be performing a selection of works for Voice and Flute at the Atsui Gallery, 602 E. Hastings. Included in the program will be several works of mine including: Which Love Creates, Four Directions, and Eve. $5

February 13 - Redshift music presents CORI SPEZZATI, an evening of spatial choral music from the past and present. I composed a short Promenade for solo voice and random echoes for this concert. Free
